About Misty Mountain Hop

Misty Mountain Hop, a new level 25 guild located on the high population, PvP server [H] Kil'jaeden (PST). We are recruiting dedicated and experienced raiders to start SoO Heroic next week. We will continue to build and grow to eventually move into 20m Mythic raiding in WoD.

The first night of raiding we cleared 10/14 Normal in 2 hours with no wipes. We will finish the lockout on Thursday and move into Heroic SoO next Tuesday.

About Us

<Misty Mountain Hop> is a brand new guild, started by two former hardcore raiders with substantial experience in cutting edge progression. In past expansions we've earned multiple server first heroic kills, raiding up to 20 hours a week at our peak. The days of hardcore raiding are far behind us and we want to move in a more semi-casual direction.

In the current expansion, we are 14/14N SoO with some Heroic experience. We are in search of dedicated, knowledgeable, friendly raiders who wish to become part of a tight-knit family of good people.

What We Expect From You

Since we will only be raiding ~8 hours per week, we have to use our time wisely.

You're expected to:

Arrive on time
Be fully gemmed, enchanted, and reforged optimally
Be in PVE gear
Be ready to put in some hard work
Mature
Respectful
Punctual
Knowledgeable of your class
Be able to take a joke

Your gear should reflect your class and spec priorities. You'll come to find that we're a friendly and helpful couple of guys who like to bull!@#$ around. However when it's time to put our heads down and get to business, we will do it and do it well.

What Will You Get From Us?

You will be a part of building a new end-game progression guild from the bottom up. This will be a place for friends and family to come together to achieve a common goal of killing dragons (orcs?), earning bragging rights, and purple pixels of course.

The team will always be put over the individual. We have had experience in every past expansion as heroic, cutting edge raid leaders (13/15 Naxx pre-BC release, 6/6 Sunwell Plateau, server 1st H-25m Lich King during WotLK, and Heroic FL clears in Cata).
We will bring that mind-set to the semi-casual sector. Patience is a virtue that I thankfully possess. As I said before, if we need to spend time gearing people up in Normal SoO to have the DPS / Heals for Heroics, we will do that no problem.

A fully stocked guild bank will be available to all active raiders, providing flasks, potions, food, and daily guild repairs. Vent server and guild website are up and running.

You will be getting a new, tight-knit WoW family to enjoy the rest of this expansion and the new adventures in Draenor with.

If you're new to the raiding scene and eager to learn, still get together with me. Not everyone has been hardcore raiding for almost a decade and I understand that. I was once given a chance to prove myself, and I believe that everyone deserves that. If you are competent and skilled in your class, I want you to come show me what you've got.
